- Plan each outfit from head to toe. Include shoes, socks, belts, jewelry, and any other accessories. Some portraits will be close up, while others will show your full outfit.
- Add layers. A jacket, sweater, scarf, or hat can change the look without a complete wardrobe change.
- Bring a variety of colors. Black, primary colors, stripes, plaid, and patterns can all be options. Avoid large brand names or wording unless it is a school logo or a meaningful part of your look.
- Try everything on together. Check that you can sit, stand, and move comfortably in each outfit.
Colors for Outdoor and Fall Senior Pictures

Pets are welcome, too. Arrange for someone to watch your pet while you take photographs without them. If you would like to bring a horse, let Lisa know in advance so she can plan a horse-friendly location.
